Sunday Morning Studies

A stimulating adult education class is held during the academic year at 9:00am Sunday mornings in Conference Rooms 1 & 2. It is open to all and is taught by Tim Swanson – an award-winning teacher of ancient and medieval civilizations at Wyoming Seminary since 1966. Thoughtful questions and observations are encouraged during the lively discussions that occur. Audio visual aids are often used to enhance understanding of the Biblical passages. This past year the class gained a better understanding of some of the challenges facing the church today, by learning about the challenges faced by the early churches of Caesarea Philippi, Sardis, Pergamum, Ephesus, and Laodicea through Bible readings and video documentaries of archeological studies made in those areas.
