Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I can’t say enough how appreciative and grateful I am for being able to serve such a wonderful church congregation that truly knows how to love one another as well as reach out to the surrounding community. A church that lives into their mission of being God’s hands and voice and the beacon on a Hill. I want to extend thanks for all the cards and other communication that I have received over these past weeks. Not only have I been touched by receiving them, but I am blessed to know that others are receiving cards, calls, and other communication as well. I love hearing the stories of people reconnecting with friends or just getting to know someone on a deeper level than they had the opportunity to before. God is truly at work in all times and in all places even when we struggle to see it.
Let us continue to reach out to each other and our community as we have been. I have heard that many of you appreciated the opportunity to call in for the live service this past week. Please bear with us as we continue to find ways to reach everyone. Please know that our session will be working on a plan to safely hold worship services as things begin to open. In the meantime, given the current restrictions we are continuing to live stream on Facebook, and upload the recorded service to YouTube shortly after service. We also have the option of calling in again this week. The church website has been updated to make finding things a little easier. We also have provided an opportunity to share prayer requests and assistance requests which are confidential unless requested to share. Links and information are provided below.
Let us continue living into our mission and remembering that even if we are not together in body, we are together in Spirit.
